A professionally trained and first aid certified dog walker comes to your home or office between 11-3pm to walk your dog(s).

LEASHED: Your dog walker will pick your dog up, sign into your Portland's Paws home pet journal, and take your dog for a walk in and around your neighborhood. Upon return they will sign back into your home journal and leave a short message about how the walk went, check your pet's water supply, towel your pet off if weather is inclement, and give your pet a treat and a hug goodbye. Your dog may be accompanied by other Portland's Paws pets unless you request a private walk or we determine that an individual walk is a better option for your pet.

UNLEASHED: Your dog walker will sign into your Portland's Paws home pet journal, and then transport your pet to a supervised, enclosed area, where they can run free. Upon return they will sign back into your home journal and leave a short message about how the walk went, check your pet's water supply, towel your pet off if weather is inclement, and give your pet a treat and a hug goodbye. Your dog may be accompanied by other Portland's Paws pets for this walking service.

GROUP WALKS (45 - 60 minutes): Group walks are offered as both LEASHED and UNLEASED options. They are great options for socialization and exercise, and we highly recommend that your pet join one of our walking packs. Walks are taken in groups of no more than 5 dogs, depending on the walker's assessment of the pack, which ensures personal attenion, safety, and plenty of time for play. After the assessment, we may suggest and highly encourage, a walking tool such as a gentle leader for your dog to also ensure safety.

INDIVIDUAL WALKS (25 - 30 minutes): Individual walks are offered as LEASHED options. Pet owners may request individual walks, which are ideal for senior dogs, dogs that are not yet ready for the pack experience, or those who just want undivided affection showered upon their best friend. Individual walks can include some specialized training. After the assessment, we may suggest and highly encourage, a walking tool such as a gentle leader for your dog to also ensure safety.
